How To Create Giraffe Nails?

I was having quite a busy morning today, with preparing new Offer for the Cupcake Land, uploading last of the Poizen Industries Hoodie Jackets and putting away the email marketing task for as long as possible...
Typical day, when I came across this awesome Giraffe Nail image on Facebook, and I absolutely felt head over heels for it... It's really easy to do when you think about it, it's white base coat, one beige stripe along 4 nails with giraffe head on the thumb and also few brown spots, which can be irregular too! It's so effective, but doesn't require special skills, only thin nail art brush, so I thought I will create quick step by step guide How to Create these Giraffe Nails :) Hope you like it!

How to create Giraffe Nails:

you'll need:

white nail polish as a base
3 shades of beige / brown nail polish (light beige, medium brown and dark brown)
black nail polish to create Giraffe's nose and eyes (or simply use liquid eyeliner tip!)
top coat nail polish (clear)

Steps:

First apply two coats of white nail polish and let it dry completely. Allow the first coat to dry before applying the second coat. Two coats will give you better coverage too!

When the white nail polish is completely dry (test it by clasping two nails together - they shouldn't be sticky), you can start creating the giraffe's neck and head shape with the lightest beige nail polish.

This part is really easy: simply create wide horizontal stripe across the 4 nails on which the neck shape will be. Leave bit of white area showing on top and bottom of the nails as in the photo.
Next create the shape of the giraffe's head on the thumb, you can also add two ears!

Wait till this coat is completely dry too, before applying giraffe's spots with medium brown nail polish. Don't worry about the spots being irregular, the beauty is in the imperfection!
Simply take your nail art brush, tip it in the medium brown nail varnish and apply it over the beige coat. The spots can be round, oval, square, how you like it!

Don't apply any of this colour to giraffe's head. Instead take the darkest brown and create giraffe's horns and jaw.

Now let it all dry completely. Grab the thin nail brush and apply the last of giraffe's feature: eyes and nose using black nail polish (or if you haven't got one simply use your liquid eyeliner!)

Ufff, you're done! It's really nice and easy to do!
Also don't forget about the top coat to protect your nails from chipping!

Now you're ready, complete the look with some cute giraffe print coat (New Look has them! - I'm a proud owner too), brown leggings, cream tank top and beige hoodie jacket! Have fun!

How To Give Your Tshirt Glam Punk Make Over?

Today I've been uploading new Poizen Industries Girl Tshirt online, and I've realised it has got pink cross stitch details at the bottom and by one sleeve - it makes such a huge difference, it just looks so wicked and punky, the simplest ideas are really the best!!!

But you can do it yourself and give any of your old Tshirt bit of Glam Punk look! Take hot pink yarn and create 3 - 4 stitches along the seam - by the sleeves or at the bottom!!! Yes, 3 simple stitches can transform your old-boring tee into new wicked edgy top, and it takes few seconds - I'm gonna do that myself tomorrow :)))

Criminal Damage Vintage Tshirt with Lockets and Chains Print

I'm nearly there... I have been uploading new stock online for the last few weeks, and it seemed like never ending story. Luckily now I begin to see the light by the end of a tunnel, ufff...

While I was putting new Panda T-shirts and Alice Hoodies online, Criminal Damage clothing have arrived yay :) I've decided that could be slightly more important, and the remaining Cupcake Scarf and Feather Wings by Poizen Industries could still wait few more days.

So it was Criminal Damage turn! It was a wicked task, it's much bigger pleasure to write description of something that is so absolutely adorable and you would wear it yourself :) I loved writing description for new Criminal Damage Skinny Jeans with Pink Lace Details and Vintage Kitten Girl Tshirt with open top back :) Well, I have confession to make, I'm so crazy about open top back shirts lately, I think I might ask my  boss if I can get this Vintage Top myself :)

Anyway, what I'm hoping to do this week is to upload the rest of the Poizen Industries - Black and Pink Feather Wings, Cupcake Scarf and overknee slash socks, and when that's done I'm going to go back to Punky Pins again and finally put up all brand new Rainbow Necklace and cute Deer Necklace online - really can't wait to do it :)

Be Cute as a Button - or Learn how to Fake It!

it's amazing how much we gain when we focus on other people, when we give something not asking for anything in return... and how much we lose when we stay negative, bitchy, angry, even gossiping is quite damaging. I've always had issues with anger, bad attitude and impatience. I've never been one of those popular & successful 'Gossip Girl' sweetie pies. But there you go, you first have to accept yourself and focus on your strengths (mine is ease of meeting new people, it's worse when it comes to keeping good relations), so I try to utilize that skill, by business networking, speaking with new suppliers, 'charming' my way through life :) I imagine myself as this cute Little Deer, and feel like I can do anything - you can't be a bad person with dazzling eyes like that and sweet little pout! So perhaps I'm not as cute as this petite munchkin, people don't have to know that! I can persuade them that I am that cute - wouldn't you say SJP makes it as a day job?

Next on 'To Do' List :)

no, just kidding, i'm not that tallented, but wouldn't it be awesome to make this kind of Big-Something purse and carry it around with you, and when someone asked 'where did you get this purse' you would say 'I made it myself' *sighs*... now let's hold that thought...

My Day with Angel at Little Black Cherry :)

This Corset Jacket and Hoodie by Poizen Industries has officially broken records of time I have spent on editing and uploading a single product. I've been doing it since 7am this morning, first editing the photo, which did not have sufficient compression. Then writing descrition and setting up the related products... Ufff, now that's done and I have finally finished it, I can focus on the rest of the tasks for today :)
By the way, please tell me you like the outfit of Newspaper print Skinnies Jeans and Angel Wimgs Earrings (online soon) - I think it looks rather amazing together with this New Black Corset Hoodie with Angel Wings :)
