Ok, so Faith @ LBC is thinking of piercing her septum - she's got all professional needles and clasps, and she's watched all videos on youtube how to do it... Now it's the difficult part - actually doing it :) She's bit scared, and she was wondering if any of you guys pierced themselves before? If so what was your experience? Vote in a Poll and comment! <3
5 Ear piercings and my nose myself. :) I want to do my snakebites, but i know that it will screw up the nerves in my face...... Juba
ReplyDeleteahhh :/ yeah, better leave snakebites for pros :)
ReplyDeletemy friend has a piercing licence and gave me the whole speech on at home piercings on the whole hitting a nerve thing amd messing up your face. he really warns not to do it at home but if you're going to do it anyways be really careful!
ReplyDeleteI pierced my lip myself and i can honestly tell you it really doesn't hurt and it didn't even bleed.
ReplyDeleteAs long as you do it quick and mark it all properly you should be fine :)
Why on earth would you want to pierce your own septum?! Surely after you've spent money on needles, jewellery and clamps you might as well have paid for a professional to do it! Ah... I'm all for individuality but seriously... you can't walk down an average high street without passing at least two body piercing studios. People always seem to think that they can do the same as a professional by watching a few videos on youtube but if that were the case, we would all be professional piercers/hairstylists/whatever. Did you know that you can get Bell's Palsy from a piercing that gets infected? And that without proper autoclave sterilisation the risk of infection is really high? Yeah, having half of your face droop is *really* scene. Seriously; GO TO A PROFESSIONAL! :)
ReplyDeleteI was silly to think of doing it myself to be honest! @everyone, I got it done professionaly yesterday :)
